Fear. COMPULSORY

Fear of being quiet.
Fear of being too loud.
Fear of not saying much.
Fear of saying too much.
Fear of letting go.
Fear of getting stuck.
Fear of the unknown.
Fear of knowledge.
Fear of not being good enough.
Fear of others being better than me.
Fear of being perfect.
Fear of fear.
Fear of being fearless.
Fear of people.
Fear of myself.

Topic: Some beautiful cities around my country. COMPULSORY

First of all, I want to say that there are several gorgeous cities in Spain, like Barcelona, Madrid or Sevilla, but why talking about cities that are quite far from us and probably some readers didn’t visit? Instead, I’m going to talk about Murcia.
For me, Murcia is a mixture of nature, leisure, and healthy living. It’s full of historical corners, which are quite famous due to the magnitude of the city in Spain’s history. Here you can also find relaxing beaches pretty close to the city center; The highlands aren’t so far neither, where you can spend your day hiking. Least but not last, Murcia is full of typical restaurants which offer a wide range of mediterranean diet’s dishes.

To sum up, I want to encourage whoever is reading this to explore our city, even citizens, so everyone can see it’s inner beauty.

First practice: Introduce yourself. FREEWRITING

Hello, my name is Irene and I live in Murcia with my parents. I'm 18 years old and I want to be an English teacher in the future. It's what I've always wanted. It started when I was in primary school, on the first class of English, so I decided to follow my instincts all the way on high school. The last few years I had some really good teachers who encouraged me to keep on learning languages. Last year I got the B2 in English and I took some classes of French. Right now I'm keen on German.

To be honest, I didn't expect this first look at this subject. I though it would be a bunch of writings like e-mails or short stories like im used to write for B2, but having a blog sounds quite interesting.

I really like literature and movies, specially if they're musicals. My favourites are Sweeney Todd and Les miserables. I like to write stories and watch documentaries. Also I'm focused on art history, (I really like Gothic and the Renaissance) but I'm not good at drawing. Because of that, I'm looking forward to visiting Italy, so I can see all those masterpieces I've learned in school.

In conclusion, I expect of this year to be as exciting as I've always expected, and of course, to understand English better and be fluent at it.
